for Schools Seeking English Teachers

If your school in China or Taiwan is seeking English teachers, please copy and paste the questions below to a Microsoft Word document and answer them all.  Please e-mail the completed document as an attachment to: center@eslweb.com.

After reviewing your information, an ESLweb representative (who speaks Chinese) may contact you to conduct an interview, and possibly, arrange a visit to your school.

1. The School
- Name and address of the school
- Registration numbers of the school with the municipal, provincial and/or central authorities
- Web site address if available

2. Contact Person
Name, title/position, address, phones, e-mail address.

3. Teaching Position Description
(1) How many classes (or hours) the teacher will teach per week, (2) How many students in a class, (3) Grade or age range of the students, (4) Whether the position is for one or two semesters, (5) Whether the contract is renewable after the initial contract of one or two semesters, and (6) When the position will be available. 

4. Stipend
(1) Stipend (in RMB) for the English teacher by month, (2) Number of months the teacher will receive the stipend

5. Lodging
(1)Where will the teacher stay?  (2) Is it free?  (3) If not free, how much will the rent be per month?  (4) Describe the type of place where the teacher will stay, for example, if it is furnished, on or off campus, equipped with private bath and/or air conditioner, etc.

6. Airfare Reimbursement
Will there be airfare reimbursement?  Reimbursement for one way or round trip?  How and when will the reimbursement be paid?

7. Travel Allowance
Will there be travel allowance from the central or local government to encourage the teachers to travel in China ?  How much?  When will the allowance be paid?

8. Special Bonus
Will there be special bonus to encourage the teachers to stay longer?  How much?  When will the bonus be paid?

9. Medical Care
Free medical care?  If not, how much to pay by the teachers?  Do the teachers need to carry their own health insurance as well?

10. Specific Requirements
Your school's requirements for the teacher pertaining to his (or her) teaching experience, special training (ESL, TESOL, for example), major field of study, academic degree (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.), personality, etc.

11. Additional Information
Write down any information you want to add about your school, students, and teaching positions.  ( The more information you give us, the better are our chances in finding teachers who meet your requirements. )
